Everest Cho La Pass Trekking

Everest Cho la pass Trek with Everest Base Camp is an adventure trek in Everest Region since it includes the high pass of Cho la. So, Cho la pass- Everest Base camp Trek is suitable for those trekkers having longer time and wants to have the adventure trekking in Nepal Himalayas.

The Main attractions of the Everest Base camp- Cho la pass trekking is the of the Base Camp of the world’s tallest mountain Everest, A part this- the Beautiful Gokyo lake, Views form the Gokyo Ri, Adventure Cho la pass, the culture and life style of the Sherpas are the other highlights of the Trek.

The Everest Cho la pass Trek starts form Kathmandu by flight to the mountain airstrip at Lukla, the heart of the Everest Region, then around three hours walk from the airport we reach at the first stop at Phakding then we continue our trip to the north up to the Dudh Kosi Valley and Namche Bazaar. And Next day, we continue our tour to Everest base camp, after having one day rest in Dingboche or Pheriche where we will have some magnificent view of Everest along with Nuptse, Lohtse and Mount Pumori Himalayas and then we return to lobuche and head to Zongla and pass the chola and stay overnight at Thangnak.

Next morning, we trek to Gokyo Lake. The Gokyo Peak (5480m) ascent is the one of the tourist attraction of this circuit, we have incredible scenery, including magnificent views of Everest (8848m), Makalu, Cho Oyo (8153m) and Lhotse (8511m) and more. Then we return back down to Lukla and fly back to Kathmandu again.

Trip day to day itinerary

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu airport (1345meters) and you will be met by our airport representative and transferred to hotel, Evening free and overnight at Karma travelers Home.

Day 02: Full day of sightseeing of Kathmandu valley. Overnight at Karma travelers Home.

Day 03: Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla (2886m) and Trek to Phakding (2610m) - 3.5 hours. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D

Day 04: Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440 m.) - 6 Hours. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D

Day 05: Rest day at Namche Bazaar (3440 m) for acclimatization. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D

Day 06: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Dole (4040m.) via Khumjung- 6 Hours. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D

Day 07: Trek from Dole to Machhermo (4150m)- 5 hours. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D

Day 08: Trek from Machhermo to Gokyo (4750m)-5 Hours. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D

Day 09: Rest day at Gokyo and excursion around Gokyo valley & Lake. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D

Day 10: Trek from Gokyo – Ri (5400m) – Thanknak (4650m)-6 Hours. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D

Day 11: Trek from Thaknak - Chola Pass (5350m)-Dzongla (4830m)-9 Hours. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D

Day 12: Trek form Dzongla to Gorakshep (5180mm) 5 Hours. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D

Day 13: Trek to EBC (5316m) and Return to Gorakshep (5180m)- 4-5 hours. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D

Day 14: Trek from Gorakshep to Kala Patthar (5545m.) and trek to Pheriche (4243m.)- 7 Hours. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D

Day 15: Trek from Pheriche to Tyangboche (3867 m.)- 4 Hours. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D

Day 16: Trek from Tyangboche to Namche Bazaar (3440 m) 4-5 Hours. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D

Day 17: Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2886 m.)- 6 Hours. Overnight at Guest House. B.L.D

Day 18: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu. We will take an early morning flight back to Kathmandu, Free time, Shopping. Overnight at Hotel. B.B

Day 19: Transfer to international airport for your final flight departure. B
