Trekking in Nepal is the most fascinating walking holidays in the Himalayas. Nepal has four distinct season with the distinct weather and climate. Spring season (March - April - May) is warm and dusty with the less rain fall. Summer/Monsoon season is hot in terai and warm in mountain area with the much rainfall. This is also the monsoon season (June - July - August). During this season, trekking is not possible to high Himalayas but you can go on short and easy trekking where the hills and valley turn lush and green. The main season in Nepal is Autumn season (September - October - November) which is said to be the peak season for tourism in Nepal. It is the best trekking season with the cool weather and clear skies. Winter season falls on December to February where there will be cold at night and foggy in the morning but day time is warm when sunshine. The weather at day time is clear and pleasant to view the mountains but you cannot go on trekking to high Himalayas due to heavy snowfall and killer temperature.
