Nepal Earthquake One Year After

It has been one year since the massive earthquake hit Nepal on April 25 followed by major aftershock on May 12, 2015. 30,000 plus tremors occurred during this one year of time that left the survivors in fear. On around a minute 7.8 magnitude earthquake, nearly 9,000 people died, about 23,000 people injured and Over 600,000 houses crumbled that day. Nepal is still reeling. Many people are still living in tents and under tarps who have lost their homes in earthquake. Tourism of Nepal which accounts for 10% of Nepal's total economy was badly affected by the earthquake. 21 people were killed on an avalanche at Everest Base Camp and 250 people are still missing in Langtang Valley.
