Langtang Management and Reconstruction Committee has named journalist Ashok Silwal goodwill ambassador for reconstruction of Langtang village which was completely destroyed in the April earthquake.
Officials of the committee felicitated journalist Silwal and conferred goodwill ambassador title on him during the premiere of 'Waking and Walking' - a documentary about the first group of trekkers to visit Langtang after the earthquake - held recently in Kathmandu. Silwal is also the director of 'Ghar Farkiraheka Manchhe' - a documentary about Langtang locals returning to their village after the earthquake.
